Backerei Rector Cafe in Moordorf

We went for breakfast with friends and loved the great cafe and friendly staff. Had two breakfasts for two people and for a good 20 euros you can ask for at least one cup of coffee. In the evening I found out that we paid a good 64 euros for breakfast ... Since we had two pots of coffee. The first pot we thought belonged to breakfast. No ... Apparently not and so we paid 12 euros for a pot of coffee and then twice. So for 24 euros of coffee. I complained over the phone and said that the pots didn't contain 8 cups of coffee as claimed. There was no real explanation. That would be the case ... But please tell your customers beforehand. We were very upset. That wasn't that nice and completely overpriced. You should be ashamed of yourself for that. A bit of a rip-off on the customer. Sad...

Very nice ambience since the renovation. Everything was nice and clean and really well furnished. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Rector is simply not of good quality when it comes to rolls or pastries, rolls unfortunately don't taste good, you always have the feeling that the old things are being baked again ...

Great breakfast buffet on Sunday Reservation needed! But that's the only downside. Fresh fruit, fish, meat, eggs prepared differently, cornflakes, rich selection, something for everyone. Coffee, tea, cocoa and oats until you drop. The friendly team asks regularly but not intrusive, if something is missing. Just to feel good!

The breakfast buffet on Sunday is the best value for money in my opinion. The staff is friendly and conscientious. One point deduction that the drinks are not always included in the price.

The breakfast was quite nice, plentiful and good selection. Only mini rolls and half croissants I have not had anywhere except at this bakery!

Beautiful cafe, a feast for the eyes, nice staff and a great delicious assortment. Chapeau, a great place for Ostfriesland. Will gladly return and let me spoil culinary.

We had the Belvedere breakfast for 2 people. Very rich and nicely served. The different seating options were also very appealing. The process of ordering / being served, then getting bread rolls yourself, etc., takes a bit of getting used to.

Although we were registered as a group and were almost alone with the staff, we were barely greeted. The breakfast was very tasty, but the price-performance ratio was not okay.

Great ambience for a well-filled wallet. Average quality of the dishes, but does not stand out from the competition.

Nice ambience. Unfortunately, after 7:00 p.m. milk coffee was no longer possible. Machine already clean .... Too bad.

It is a restaurant with a bakery. Or a bakery with a restaurant :-). It was my third time here for dinner. So far it has always tasted good. I will also give 5 stars, but it's in the details. Such as. Christmas candles in March, menus sorted, tables & toilet area could be a little cleaner. That's it about complaining ;-) In any case, the food has always been good.

Nice shop, lots of breakfast for the money !!! Would love to come back
